THE SPACE
TiLab’s provides UIC faculty, students, and staff and local entrepreneurs access to fully functional lab and work space. Our 12,000-square foot facility is located in the Illinois Medical District and features both wet and dry laboratory space - plus all reasonably common lab equipment for life sciences research. We offer collaborative co-working space and office space. Access to conference rooms, break rooms, and a shared kitchen is also provided.

- Four private offices
- Six dedicated individual workstations in shared offices

TiLab provides common lab equipment including:
- Biological safety cabinet
- Fume hoods
- Centrifuge, Microcentrifuge
- -80°C freezers
- CO2 incubator
- Autoclave
- Glass washer
SHARED SERVICES Heading link
- EHS training and compliance for all lab users
- Permits for all laboratory operations
- Cleaning and waste removal
- Maintenance of equipment and technical support
- Access to the UIC Library and research resources such as the Resource Research Center, the Biologic Resource Lab, and Nanotechnology Core Facility, and certain purchasing discounts
